Job Details

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work with business analysts and users to gather and interpret requirements for financial and healthcare systems, including large data warehouses.
2. Design and develop database applications using SQL Server Integration Services, TSQL, and Stored Procedures.
3. Consult on logical design for new solutions based on existing data architecture.
4. Perform code reviews, analyze execution plans, and optimize inefficient code.
5. Follow data standards, resolve issues, and document ETL processes.
6. Collaborate to determine data extraction and transformation needs.
7. Build scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory for structured and unstructured data.
8. Implement security measures for sensitive data with Azure Key Vaults.
9. Use Azure Databricks for analytics, ETL jobs, and machine learning workflows.
10. Optimize big data processing with Spark fundamentals.
11. Ensure data quality and troubleshoot pipeline issues.
12. Document technical specifications and best practices.
13. Utilize Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, Python, and scripting tools.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related roles.
• Proficiency in SQL, troubleshooting, ETL automation, Spark, Azure Functions, Python, and related tools.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, and scripting.
• Fully remote work permitted.
