Developer - Health & Genomic Data Protection Specialist

Immediate need for a talented Developer - Health & Genomic Data Protection Specialist. This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential, located in US (Remote). Please review the job description below and contact us ASAP if interested.

Pay Range

$95.00/hr - $100.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement proprietary SGV architecture
• Build cryptographic frameworks using AES-256 in GCM mode for securing genomic data
• Implement key management systems with master key encryption and secret splitting across AI agents
• Create the Veiled Insights Framework (VIF) for secure querying of encrypted twins
• Design and develop Gene Parser and Digital Twin Generator modules, including GAN integration
• Establish secure storage for distributed encrypted twins
• Develop protocols for secure aggregation of insights without full genome reconstruction
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and PHI protection in all implementations
• Conduct security assessments and prepare documentation for HIPAA audits
• Collaborate with researchers and data scientists to optimize system usability

Key Requirements and Experience:

• Expertise in genomic data security, data encryption, and AI agents
• 5-7 years as a security developer focused on cryptography
• Strong experience with AES-256 encryption, especially in GCM mode
• Experience implementing HIPAA-compliant security systems and safeguards for PHI
• Knowledge of building AI agents in healthcare data security and privacy regulations
• Experience with key management and secret sharing algorithms
• Proficiency in secure coding practices and vulnerability assessment
• Experience with distributed systems and secure multi-party computation
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or C++
• Knowledge of cloud security and secure data handling in distributed environments
• Experience with GANs or similar ML technologies
• Background in homomorphic encryption or secure multi-party computation
• Understanding of differential privacy techniques
• Experience developing security systems for genomic data and conducting HIPAA risk assessments
• Ability to work with IRBs on data security for human subjects research
