Sr. Full Stack Developer (Java / Angular / AWS)

Location: Washington, D.C

Salary: $150,000/yr - $190,000/yr

Work Arrangement: 100% Remote

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Eligible for a US Public Trust security clearance
• Experienced Full Stack Developer
• 8+ years of software development experience
• 8+ years with SQL queries, stored procedures, and relational databases
• 5+ years of experience working in Agile teams
• 3+ years of Angular experience
• 3+ years of REST API development in Cloud environments
• Experience with system design across web, application, and data zones
• Experience with data ingestion techniques and processes (preferred)
• Experience with AWS cloud platform (required)
• Prior experience with relational databases; Redshift experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Snyk, JFROG Artifactory or similar
• Champion an automate-everything mindset across the development lifecycle
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and productivity tools
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Diverse experience across the full software development lifecycle (preferred)
• Mentor junior personnel on development best practices
• Previous CMS or federal government contracting experience (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Advocate for best practices, communicate progress, monitor developers, and provide technical guidance
• Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and QA to design, develop, and test applications
• Translate requirements and user stories into functionalities on AWS cloud platforms
• Develop and maintain user interfaces and AWS Lambdas
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data ingestion processes
• Create processes for data exchange via REST APIs
• Develop automated testing scripts to ensure quality
• Diagnose and resolve defects
• Produce documentation for application and API usage
• Refactor front-end code to improve usability
• Coordinate with DevSecOps to ensure infrastructure deployment using IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform) and CI/CD (Jenkins)
