Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a DevSecOps focused professional to maintain development infrastructure, automate security in CI/CD, and manage risk within a mission-critical environment. You will implement containerized and cloud-based solutions while ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities include leveraging Argo CD, Ansible, GitLab CI, Kubernetes, and IaC workflows to deliver secure, scalable software across the lifecycle. TS/SCI eligibility is noted for this role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform, Packer, AWS CloudFormation).
• Proficient with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Strong security knowledge: threat modeling, risk assessment, security testing tools.

You Will

• Be confident in your ability to maintain a development infrastructure and perform to customer specifications. This role will also be able to perform certain system administration functions to support development efforts.
• Have strong Technical Expertise: Proficient in coding, scripting, and automation tools. Knowledgeable in cloud technologies, containers, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of security principles, practices, and tools. Familiar with threat modeling, risk assessment techniques, and security testing tools.
• Automation Mindset: Leverages automation to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines efficiently. Familiar with tools like Argo CD, Ansible, GitLab CI, and automated security testing tools.
• Risk Management: Ability to assess, prioritize, and manage security risks in alignment with business objectives.
• Compliance and Governance: Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to information security. Ensures that DevSecOps practices comply with these standards.

The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:
Performs tech planning, design, devel, integ, v&v for total syst life cycle. Analyses performed at all levels of syst product incl. concept, design, fabrication, test, instl, operation, maintenance & disposal, incorp design methods & stds for Cyber Security, SW & HW infrastructure. Designs, devels, docs, tests & debugs SW that contains logical & math solutions to business/mission problems/questions in computer language. Ensures the logical & syst conversion of customer/product reqs into total syst solutions that ack tech, sched, cost constraints & align to SW & HW deployment pipelines & factories. Performs func & timeline analysis, detail trade & reqs allocation & interface defs studies to translate customer reqs into HW & SW feature defs & acceptance criteria. Applies stds, processes, procedures & tools throughout the devel life cycle. Applies HW & SW knowledge, cyber security stds in business/mission apps, & feedback from users to develop SW. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles doc of program devel & analyzes syst capabilities to resolve program problems, output/input data acq, programming tech & controls. Ensures SW stds are met. Validates incorp of features & use cases into implemented designs. Basic Qualifications

• No clearance required to start but needs ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Security+ or CISSP / DoD 8140 compliant cert

Must possess hands-on experience with one or more of the following:

Full-Time Salary Range: $91200.00 - $169400.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
