Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Detroit, MI. The PT will evaluate and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting, with supervision duties and coordination with the Medical Center team.

The role requires 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensing. 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, and a 13-week duration are typical for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy technicians.
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within facilities.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
