PwC Detroit is seeking an Intern in the Assurance practice to gain hands-on experience, participate in projects, and learn PwC methodologies while developing your professional brand.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MIS, Business Analytics, CIS, or IT.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA overall.
  • Must meet CPA exam eligibility or CISA licensure requirements in intended state.
  • Intern roles are entry-level; typically third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.

Responsibilities

  • Support audit teams in independent assessments of financial reporting.
  • Apply auditing methodologies to enhance transparency and compliance.
  • Observe and learn from experienced auditors to gain regulatory insights.
  • Assist in evaluating internal controls and governance frameworks.
  • Engage in data quality assurance and validation tasks.

The Opportunity

As a Detroit - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies. You will support teams by participating in projects and conducting research, contributing to the success of the team while developing your personal brand. Within our Assurance practice, you will be part of a team that provides independent and objective assessments, helping clients focus on driving their business forward.

As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to professional work environments. You will perform basic tasks, observe, and participate in projects, applying a learning mindset to develop your potential. You will be encouraged to actively listen, ask questions, and express ideas clearly, while appreciating diverse perspectives and contributing to the team's success.

What You Must Have
  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

Salary

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
