Job summary

AtlantiCare in Mays Landing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the John Brooks Recovery Center. This part-time daytime role supports detox services across units, including medical detox and residential settings.

You will assess, administer medications, monitor withdrawal using CIWA/COWS, document care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality behavioral health care. The role requires NJ RN licensure (BSN preferred), BLS, and CPI within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in NJ or multi-state license.
• BLS required.
• CPI within 6 months of hire or transfer and continuously maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care per license and care plans.
• Oversee coordination of interdisciplinary care and ensure alignment with treatment plans.
• Assess patients using standardized withdrawal measures (COWS/CIWA).
• Administer medications per orders and protocols for acute withdrawal.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate patient records.
• Maintain medication rooms and ensure proper inventory and safety.
