Job summary

EOSIS (Brooklyn Park, MN) is hiring a full-time Recovery Technician - Detox for the 2nd shift (3:00 am - 11:30 pm). You will perform basic health screenings, interview clients, observe health status, and orient clients on their rights within a confidential team environment.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Free of substance use problems for at least one year.
High school diploma or GED with some college/technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform basic health screening procedures with all clients as directed by Registered Nurse.
Interview clients to obtain basic medical history and current health complaints.
Observe the client's health status, particularly related to detoxification and withdrawal.
Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene as needed.
Orient clients to their rights per Minnesota statute and staff responsibilities to clients as required.
Document client notes/progress in the EHR system per DHS regulations.
