Job summary

Renew360° in Toms River, NJ seeks a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor to deliver direct clinical services for detoxification and short-term residential treatment. You will conduct screenings, assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and care coordination with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required CADC/LCADC or NJ license and a Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• CADC or LCADC license issued by NJ Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselor Committee.
• Must hold a Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASAM Criteria and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling in detox and short-term residential settings.
• Conduct screenings, assessments, treatment planning, and care coordination.
• Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with NJ DMHAS and HIPAA.
