Job summary

Immersion Residential LLC in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to manage all nursing services for patients in a detox/psychiatric setting. The role links patients to physicians and external resources, participates in treatment planning, and responds to emergencies under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

The nurse provides medical histories, routine care, and collaborates with the treatment team to ensure safe detoxification and adherence to licensure

Qualifications

• Graduated from a community college with Practical Nurse Degree.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in chemical dependency/psychiatric settings, detox unit or inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Two years sobriety prior to hire if recovering from SUD; current CPR; licensure in the appropriate state.

Responsibilities

• Complete admission-related documentation within 24 hours of admission (Admission Note, Nursing Assessment, Pre-Screen Testing, etc.).
• Transcribe physician orders and implement medical protocols.
• Administer medications and monitor detoxification processes.
• Collaborate with Medical Doctor and Psychiatrist; make referrals as needed.
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor detox patients; manage medication administration.
• Educate patients about health problems and care; participate in team meetings.
• Maintain privacy of client information per policy; ensure compliance with regulations.
