Job summary

Sunrise Detox seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support patients and liaise with medical staff, preparing charts for case management and assisting with vitals to ensure timely, quality care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with knowledge of addiction and mental health preferred. Night shifts are 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, three days a week, with weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of addiction and mental health is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete intakes on new patient admissions, orientation procedures and schedules.
• Document attendance for all groups.
• Record inventory log of patient’s personal belongings and valuables.
• Interact with patients and staff using de-escalation techniques when necessary.
