Job summary

Wellbrook Recovery is seeking an experienced RN-Nurse to join our detox, substance use treatment and mental health clinical team in Chardon, OH. The role provides direct patient care in detox and residential settings, focusing on safety and evidence-based nursing in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting withdrawal symptoms, collaborating with physicians and staff, and maintaining EMR records.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in Ohio.
• Experience in detox, behavioral health, substance use treatment, or psychiatric nursing preferred.
• CPR certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patients in a detox setting.
• Assess and document withdrawal symptoms (CIWA, COWS preferred).
• Provide nursing care for individuals with substance use and mental health disorders.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and clinical staff.
• Respond to medical needs and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems.
