Job summary

ASML US, LLC seeks a Process Engineer to own deterministic polishing lap figure control across optical fabrication. You will manage CP, PP, and spindle lap flatness, standard conditioning, and cross-platform consistency to improve FPY and defect performance.

The role requires a proactive engineering mindset, structured problem solving, and collaboration with Manufacturing, Metrology, Quality, Technology, and Equipment Engineering to deploy universal polishing standards.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Optical, Materials or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years in optical fabrication or related manufacturing processes.
• Experience with polishing, metrology, and process improvement.
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven qualification skills.

Responsibilities

• Own lap flatness, conditioning methods, and standardization across platforms.
• Lead qualification of new conditioning methods and materials.
• Drive root-cause analysis for defects and FPY loss.
• Document corrective actions and sustain improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce standards.
