Allied Universal in Columbia, SC is seeking a Detention Security Officer - Full Time Entrance to provide security and customer service at client sites. The role is unarmed patrol-focused, with day-time schedules and a pay rate of $17.95 per hour.

You will monitor and deter incidents, conduct patrols of the location and perimeter, and support access control and badge processes. Allied Universal values teamwork, ongoing training, and a culture of integrity across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will undergo a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
