Job summary

Acuity International, LLC is seeking an Assistant Health Service Administrator to support senior managers by coordinating daily operations, staffing, budgets, and compliance within a detention facility. The role requires strong leadership and healthcare administration experience.

You will oversee clinical and support staff, ensure regulatory adherence, drive quality improvement, and prepare for audits. Evening/weekend availability and background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration.
• Experience in correctional, detention, military, or government-contracted healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of NCCHC, ACA, HIPAA, OSHA standards and contracting compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily administrative operations of the healthcare unit in a detention facility.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of medical staff.
• Develop quality improvement, patient safety, and infection control programs.
• Prepare for internal and external audits and inspections.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely reporting to government customers.
