Amentum in El Paso, TX is seeking a Security Operations Director to lead and coordinate security programs at the East Montana Detention Facility, ensuring safety and compliance in a 24/7 environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or substantial corrections experience, the ability to obtain a US government security clearance, and strong leadership, communication, and emergency response skills. On-site with travel as needed; competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or three years of significant corrections/ICE detention experience.
• Familiar with ICE, DHS and NDS 2026 requirements and detention facility regulations.
• Strong leadership and written/verbal communication to lead staff and prepare reports.
• Ability to travel and obtain/maintain US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with detention facility policies and operational procedures.
• Direct oversight of detention operations and program implementation.
• Coordinate security and detainee safety programs and compliance activities.
• Serve as liaison with government agencies and program leadership when needed.
• Ensure adherence to NDS 2026, PWS standards and reporting requirements.
• Maintain records, incident reports, and timekeeping; provide on-call support within two hours.
• Act as Warden when required and interface with Ft Bliss and other officials.
