Job summary

Qualifications

• Florida APRN licensure current
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• Nurse Practitioner program graduate
• FNP-BC certification for Florida
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications held
• Familiar with EHR systems
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Ability to work independently
• High-stress tolerance
• Immunization record complete

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource for patients needing care information, counseling, and guidance in outpatient setting
• Provide patient education about conditions, testing, preventive care, and treatments
• Facilitate decision making with educational tools for patients and families
• Perform initial screenings, obtain medical history, and conduct age-appropriate assessments
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and referrals
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments
• Update patient records and ensure accuracy at appointments
• Deliver quality care while meeting productivity metrics
• Maintain a safe clinical environment
