Job summary

CDR Health Care Inc. seeks licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) in the Sanderson, FL area to provide healthcare at a detention facility. The APRN independently manages health problems and coordinates care per guidelines and nursing standards of care.

You will deliver primary medical care to a wide variety of patients at the site, educate patients about conditions, diagnostics, and treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Florida APRN license.
• Graduate of accredited NP program.
• FNP certification in Florida.
• Minimum 2 years' experience.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS current.
• Familiar with the EHR medical charting system.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care to detainees at the site.
• Perform initial patient screenings and age-appropriate histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for referrals and care.
• Educate patients on conditions, testing, prevention, and treatments.
• Update patient records and maintain productivity metrics.
