Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office in Idaho is hiring a Sheriff Deputy (Jail/Corrections) to join the detention division. Training is provided; no prior experience required. Testing is scheduled for Thursday, November 12, 2026, with remote testing options.

Compensation ranges from $29.92 to $33.76 per hour (DOE) and includes a comprehensive benefits package. The job is eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness for qualifying employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 12 months of work experience.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license.
