Job summary

Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Professional to perform screenings and provide psychoeducation to detainees.

You will collaborate with custody and medical staff to monitor behavior health concerns and support discharge planning and case management, ensuring continuity of care within the facility. The role requires a Master’s degree in a Behavioral/Social Science field and preferred state licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a Behavioral/Social Science field is required.
• Current licensure with clinical specialty preferred.
• CPR certification must be obtained prior to hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, provide behavioral health screening of detainees as referred by facility staff or identified during prescreening.
• Deliver individual and/or group psychoeducation and skills-based interventions.
• Coordinate with custody and medical staff in monitoring behavioral health.
• Assist with discharge planning and case management via sharing pertinent patient information.
• Complete documentation and maintain records for referral tracking and CQI under supervision.
