Job summary

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) seeks a Behavioral Health Provider to conduct mental health assessments, counseling, and case management for detainees.

You will perform clinical evaluations, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and staff education within a multidisciplinary team in a non-supervisory role. Requirements include a doctoral or master’s degree, a clinical license, and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Requires doctoral or master’s degree, clinical license.
• 2+ years of clinical experience.
• USPHS officer or CAD candidate; civilians not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Behavioral Health Clinical Practice in the facility.
• Conducts behavioral health assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis of detained non-citizens.
• Provides counseling, psychotherapy, and education; may be in-person or virtual.
• Uses EMR for documentation and telephonic encounters.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Coordinate with HQ and institutional leadership to ensure continuity of care.
