Position type is full time with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Driving duties require a valid license; incumbents participate in training, reports, and incident response as part of a team-focused, people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required in state of job location.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas to identify hazards or policy violations.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify authorization, report unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and shift hand-off information.
