Job summary

CIBC in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Detection Engineer to design, build and support threat detections across Endpoint, Network, Cloud and Applications. Qualifications

• Experience designing threat detections using MITRE ATT&CK.
• Ability to translate threat intel into actionable detections.
• Strong understanding of cyber kill-chain concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support threat detection content.
• Collaborate with SOC, Threat Hunting, Cyber Risk, DLP, and Incident Response teams.
• Leverage MITRE ATT&CK and kill-chain knowledge to detect and disrupt threats.
• Work in an Agile environment with 2-week sprints and Scrum practices.
