Job summary

Charlie Clark Auto Group is seeking a Make-Ready Porter/Detailer for our McAllen, TX dealership. This role focuses on detailing, prep work, and ensuring every vehicle meets quality standards before delivery.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience. Compensation is based on experience and market offers at the dealership. Monday through Saturday schedule with a mid-week day off.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 months of related experience or training; equivalent combinations considered.

Responsibilities

Train and assist other make-ready and detail techs
Maintain inventory and order make-ready supplies
Act as liaison between department staff and sales managers to facilitate the process for new and pre-owned vehicles
Detail client vehicles as needed
Maintain strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
Note damage and notify service so a claim can be filed within 24 hours
Perform quality control inspections of all vehicles before being brought to frontline
Coordinate with sales and service to ensure on-time deliveries
Attend department meetings
MONDAY- SATURDAY 11:OO AM - 8:00 PM (OFF WED/SUNDAY)
