Job summary

Charlie Clark Auto Group is seeking a Make-Ready Technician/Detailer to ensure every vehicle meets showroom quality and customer expectations.

As part of a busy dealership, you’ll train other detail staff, manage supplies, coordinate with sales and service teams, perform vehicle detailing, and participate in department meetings. A high school diploma or GED and a Texas driver’s license are required, with 1–3 months of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Valid Texas Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist other make-ready and detail techs.
• Maintain inventory and order make-ready supplies.
• Act as liaison between department staff and sales managers to facilitate the process for new and pre-owned vehicles.
• Detail client vehicles as needed.
• Maintain dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation.
• Notify service of any damage within 24 hours for claims.
• Perform quality control inspections before vehicles go to frontline.
• Coordinate with sales and service to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Attend department meetings.
