Job summary

Superior Auto, Inc. in Logansport, IN, is seeking a Detailer/Lot Attendant to keep vehicles clean and the lot looking sharp. You’ll be hands-on, detailing vehicles and preparing them for customers in a fast-paced dealership environment.

You’ll perform a 45-step detailing process, evaluate safety and appearance, and help maintain presentation year-round. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather are required. Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with limited moving violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Complete our 45-step detailing process on retail vehicles.
• Keep vehicles clean and ready for customers.
• Evaluate vehicles for safety, appearance, and maintenance needs.
• Maintain the dealership lot and vehicle presentation year-round.
• Support repossession and field collection activities per guidelines.
• Assist with other dealership activities as needed.
• Help with seasonal lot maintenance, including snow removal and lawn care.

What You’ll Do

• Complete our 45-step detailing process on retail vehicles
• Keep vehicles clean, presentable, and ready for customers
• Evaluate vehicles for safety, appearance, and maintenance needs and communicate concerns
• Maintain the dealership lot and vehicle presentation throughout the year
• Assist the collections team with repossession and field collection activities in accordance with Company guidelines
• Pitch in and support other dealership activities and team members as needed
• Help with seasonal lot maintenance, including snow removal and lawn care as needed
• Maintain detailing supplies, tools, equipment, and work areas
• Follow Company safety procedures and dealership operating guidelines
