Job summary

Southland Industries Inc. is seeking an experienced Detailer in Carrollton, Texas. The successful candidate will create detailed shop drawings for mechanical systems in construction while providing MEP coordination and 3D modeling with BIM. Applicants must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, with at least 5 years of detailing experience and familiarity with HVAC, Plumbing, Piping, and Sheet Metal trades. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant trade and/or detailing experience.
• Journeyman or Foreman mandatory.
• Current knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Piping, and Sheet Metal trades.

Responsibilities

• Creates shop drawings for mechanical systems in construction.
• Maintains a protocol of documents for easy retrieval.
• Provides MEP coordination and 3D modeling using BIM.

Skills

Navisworks experience

Revit experience

Education
