Job summary

White's Canyon Ford is seeking an Auto Detailer to clean and recondition new and used vehicles for delivery, while upholding dealership appearance standards.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, safe operation of vehicles, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment. Prior detailing experience helps, but is not always required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Previous automotive detailing experience is helpful but often not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, dashboards, and windows.
• Apply protectants and conditioners to vinyl, leather, and other surfaces.
• Remove stains, odors, and debris from vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for cosmetic imperfections and report issues to management.
• Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery.
• Maintain the cleanliness of showroom, lot, and inventory vehicles.
• Move and park vehicles safely throughout the dealership.
• Install window stickers and remove delivery materials as needed.
• Maintain detailing equipment and work areas in a clean, safe condition.
• Follow dealership safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
