Casey Honda in Newport News, Virginia, part of Casey Auto Group, is seeking an entry-level Automotive Detailer to join our family-owned team. No prior detailing experience is required—we will train the right person and help you start a rewarding career in automotive.

You will perform vehicle reconditioning, quality inspection, detailing, finishing, and inventory organization while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• A strong eye for detail and a solid work ethic.
• The ability to work efficiently and meet time allowances.
• A commitment to following safety policies and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, Monday-Saturday, between 7:30 am- 5:30 pm.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Reconditioning: Clean, wash, and refurbish new and used automobiles efficiently, adhering to dealership and manufacturer specifications.
• Quality Inspection: Check vehicles for noticeable defects such as dents, scratches, or torn upholstery, and report issues to your supervisor.
• Detailing & Finishing: Fuel vehicles, apply professional dressings to tires and tire wells, replace missing small parts, and ensure proper window stickers are displayed.
• Inventory Organization: Safely park and organize finished vehicles in designated new or used inventory spots.
• Safety First: Keep your work area neat and clean, utilize proper protective gear, operate tools and vehicles safely, and report safety concerns immediately.
