OneWater Marine Inc. is seeking a Detailer to thoroughly clean and maintain boats, both interior and exterior, ensuring the highest standards for every customer. The role emphasizes attention to detail and safe handling of cleaning materials in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting vessels, performing cosmetic repairs, and supporting yard operations to keep the showroom and grounds presentable. Prior detailing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in detailing, cleaning, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of marine products and detailing techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Detail exterior and interior of boats; wash, wax, buff, and clean upholstery and fixtures.
  • Inspect boats for areas needing attention or repairs; replace decals and perform minor cosmetic fixes.
  • Operate detailing equipment and maintain supplies; keep work areas organized.
  • Follow safety regulations and handle cleaning supplies properly.
  • Assist with inventory upkeep in the sales yard and keep grounds tidy.
  • Support other departments as needed; ensure customer satisfaction during interactions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Detailers at OneWater Marine are responsible for ensuring all boats and watercrafts are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. This involves detailing the interior and exterior of all boats and watercrafts, providing customers an exceptional experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Duties (Most Important to Least Important)

  • Perform detailing tasks on the exterior and interior of boats/ vehicles to enhance its appearance such as washing, waxing, buffing, upholstery, carpeting and fixtures.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of boats to identify areas needing attention or repair. Adds and removes decals and makes minor cosmetic repairs (trim, putty, paint, frames, hitches, and steps).
  • Use various detailing equipment, cleaning supplies, and specialized products. Maintain all equipment and supplies organized and well stocked.
  • Follow all safety and compliance regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Handle all cleaning supplies properly.
  • Assist with the upkeep of inventory in the sales yard. Maintains daily upkeep of store ground.
  • Offer support to other departments as needed.
  • Ensure a high level of satisfaction for all customers/ guests when interacting directly.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
