As a Detail & Transport Specialist at Alaska Auto Rental, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our rental vehicles are impeccably clean and ready for our valued renters.

Position: Automotive Detail & Transport Specialist
Location: Seward, Alaska
Pay Rate: $18-$22/hour DOE
Schedule flexibility & weekend availability is required for this position.

What to Expect:

• Independence & Responsibility: This position requires working independently without direct supervision, ensuring vehicles are cleaned, inspected, and ready for customers.

• Hands-On Work: Keep vehicles looking their best by thoroughly cleaning and detailing both the interior and exterior.

• Fast-Paced Environment: Engage in a variety of tasks, from vehicle cleaning to facility maintenance and organization.

• Customer Interaction: Transport rental vehicles, ensuring safe and professional service.

• Technology Use: Take and send vehicle photos using a smartphone and perform basic computer data entry.

• Decision Making: Problem-solving and handling day-to-day operations efficiently without a direct team on-site.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of driving experience, a current driver’s license, and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.

• Ability to work varying shifts and schedules, including weekends.

• Must be punctual and able to work independently.

• Must own a working smartphone.

• Must not use tobacco or marijuana products during working hours.
