Job summary

Getsw is seeking an Automotive Detail Technician to maintain the cleanliness and pristine appearance of vehicles, both inside and out. You will clean, wax, and protect exteriors, vacuum interiors, and polish windows, while safely transporting vehicles around the facility and assisting customers.

This role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and physical stamina for standing, lifting, and environmental conditions.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in automotive detailing or related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Physical stamina to handle lifting, bending, and being on your feet for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and products for automotive detailing.
  • Ability to operate various cleaning equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus.
  • Current and valid driver's license.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and polishing.
  • Apply protective finishes to exteriors.
  • Clean and polish windows.
  • Shampoo and vacuum carpets, seats, and upholstery.
  • Inspect vehicles for defects and report damages.
  • Maintain a clean detailing area.
  • Safely transport vehicles within the facility.
  • Assist in moving vehicles around the lot and ensuring proper parking.
  • Assist customers by retrieving their vehicles and providing high levels of customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness of the lot and service areas.

Job description

The Automotive Detail Technician maintains the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles, ensuring they are in pristine condition for our customers. This role involves both detailed cleaning and the safe transportation of vehicles within our facility.

Requirements
Detailing:
  • Thoroughly clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and polishing.
  • Apply protective finishes to the exteriors of vehicles.
  • Clean and polish vehicle windows.
  • Shampoo and vacuum vehicle carpets, seats, and upholstery.
  • Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects and report any damage to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized detailing area.
  • Safely transport vehicles to and from the service area, parking lot, and delivery areas.
  • Assist in the movement of vehicles around the dealership lot.
  • Ensure all vehicles are parked in designated areas and the lot is organized.
  • Assist customers by retrieving their vehicles and providing a high level of customer service.
