Job summary

Hajoca Corporation in Duncanville, TX is hiring a Warehouse Teammate to receive, stock, and fulfill orders with attention to accuracy and safety.

You will count shipments, verify contents, pick and pack customer orders, operate a forklift, and maintain a clean, secure warehouse while supporting coworkers and customers.

The role requires 1 year of warehouse receiving and material handling experience and strong communication skills. On-site training and safety compliance are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience.
• Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
• Stock and maintain the warehouse; pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
• Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle.
• Identify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations.
• Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
• Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Inform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.
• Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety. Remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris. Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues.
• Assist co-workers in servicing customers.
• Perform all job functions in accordance with the company's Safety Standards.
• Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
