Job summary

Cardone Training Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support financial reporting, account reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance. The role requires strong accounting knowledge and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The staff accountant will assist with internal and external statements, ensure accuracy of daily transactions, and contribute to month-end close activities while maintaining strict confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience, including internships or prior employment.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Assist preparation of internal and external consolidated financial statements by compiling data from the general ledger.
• Maintain and reconcile daily bank transactions with accurate data entry.
• Create and analyze spreadsheet reports to support financial decisions.
• Record general ledger entries and reconcile accounts regularly.
• Support accounts payable and ad hoc projects within the accounting department.
• Suggest improvements to accounting procedures by analyzing current processes.
• Respond to finance inquiries by researching and interpreting data.
• Collaborate with Finance on special projects assigned by leadership.
