Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Staff Accountant to provide technical accounting support within the Accounting Department. You will ensure timely and accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience in accounting.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience; GAAP knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with D365 ERP or Dayforce Ceridian.
• Ability to learn new software as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in period-end close and prepare journal entries.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, P&L).
• Reconcile cash disbursements, payroll, and other accounts.
• Support auditors during annual audits and provide documentation.
