Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/shipping software.
• Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming materials and shipments.
• Prepare outgoing orders for shipment, including labeling, packaging, and documentation.
• Accurately enter shipping and receiving information into the company’s computer system.
• Compare purchase orders, packing slips, and shipments to verify accuracy.
• Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments regarding deliveries and shipments.
• Assist with inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other warehouse and shipping-related duties as assigned.
