Job summary

Momentum Manufacturing Group, LLC in St. Johnsbury, VT is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate for 2nd shift (2:45pm–10:45pm). This full-time role verifies incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment, with potential cross training across departments.

You will package parts securely, arrange carrier pickups, maintain a clean and safe work area, and use computers to track shipments. Equipment such as forklifts/hand trucks will be used to move materials, and you will keep

Qualifications

Knowledge of how to package manufactured parts for shipping.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to take initiative and manage time effectively.
Must have valid driver license and be able to obtain/maintain medical card.

Responsibilities

Verify incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
Package parts carefully in protective wrap for shipment to customers.
Arrange pick up with the carrier specified on the purchase order and track shipments.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety regulations.
Use computer systems to track various shipping aspects.
Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to move materials between departments.
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
