Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or CCA) preferred.
• Experience in medical coding, preferably in pediatric or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using EHR systems and coding software.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation to code diagnoses and procedures.
• Assign codes based on records while following guidelines.
• Clarify documentation with providers to ensure completeness.
