Job summary

Marias Technology, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our Covington, OH in‑office team. You will handle AP/AR, vendor invoices, and month‑end support for multiple entities, reporting to the President/CEO and outside accountants.

The role blends accounting tasks with light office duties in a family‑owned environment. Expect to manage daily cash, customer invoicing, and A/R aging, with opportunities to learn across sister companies Glacier View Coffee, Pacific Coast Surf Styles, and Elias

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (AP/AR, reconciliations).
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Sage or similar accounting software.
• Ability to work full‑time, in‑office in Covington, OH.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily cash report for all entities.
• Review and enter vendor invoices into Sage, process payments, track vendors.
• Manage electronic and automatic vendor payments and verify drafts.
• Review monthly insurance invoices for accuracy before payment.
• Prepare monthly customer invoices and reconcile reports before sending.
• Run monthly Sage reports and reconcile aging to log.
• Record customer payments received by ACH and checks.
• Support month‑end close with data entry and organizing statements.
• Prepare and file sales tax returns and budget entries in Sage.
• Prepare monthly software license usage report with IT.
• Keep office supplies stocked and areas maintained.
