Payne Auto Group in Texas is seeking a Detail - Make Ready Specialist who takes pride in turning vehicles from cleaned to showroom-ready. You’ll be responsible for thorough exterior wash, waxing, interior deep cleaning, and minor cosmetic touch-ups to create a strong first impression for customers.

No prior dealership experience required; we value a keen eye for detail, reliability, and the ability to work quickly in a busy shop while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 3 consecutive years
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in automotive detailing or a related field preferred
• Familiar with tools like buffers, polishers, and steam cleaners
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for clean, polished results
• Team player with the ability to work independently when needed

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and overall readiness
• Hand wash, wax, buff, and polish vehicles to a high standard
• Deep clean interiors: vacuuming, shampooing, and detailing every surface
• Perform minor touch-ups and cosmetic repairs
• Keep track of work completed and report any issues promptly
• Follow all safety procedures to protect yourself and the vehicles
