Orangeburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an Automotive Detailer to clean and restore vehicles to showroom condition. You will perform exterior detailing, interior cleaning, and glass treatment, while following safety and quality standards.

This role requires physical stamina, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; weekend or holiday shifts may be required. Training is available for the right candidate, and benefits include health coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Prior detailing experience is preferred but training is provided.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Wash, wax, and buff vehicle surfaces by hand or using buffing machines to remove grime and swirl marks.
• Vacuum, steam clean, and shampoo interiors; clean and condition dashboards and leather seats.
• Clean interior and exterior windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces for streak-free visibility.
• Inspect vehicles before and after detailing to meet quality standards and note damages.
• Operate buffers, extractors, and pressure washers; keep wash bay clean and manage supplies.
• Move and park vehicles safely around the lot.

Key Responsibilities

• Exterior Detailing: Wash, wax, and buff vehicle surfaces by hand or using professional buffing machines to eliminate grime, scratches, and swirl marks. Clean wheels, tires, and wheel wells.
• Interior Restorations: Vacuum, steam clean, and shampoo carpets, upholstery, and floor mats. Clean, sanitize, and condition dashboards, consoles, door panels, and leather seats.
• Window Cleaning: Clean and treat interior and exterior windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure streak-free visibility.
• Quality Inspections: Thoroughly inspect vehicles before and after detailing to ensure company quality standards are met and document any pre-existing damages.
• Equipment & Inventory: Operate specialty tools (such as buffers, extractors, and pressure washers) safely. Keep the wash bay clean and monitor detailing inventory/supplies.
• Vehicle Logistics: Move and park vehicles safely around the lot or facility.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in automotive detailing or car washes is preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate!
• License: A valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record is required to operate client and company vehicles.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and lift up to50 lbs for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and excellent time-management skills.
