Job summary

Staffmark Group in Sugar Land, TX is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician to inspect parts from first article to final checks, ensuring every finished product meets customer expectations. You will own inspections, record results, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 5 years of electro-mechanical manufacturing experience, and the ability to read blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• AS degree is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing electro‑mechanical products.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to document inspection results accurately.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage First Article Inspections, including recording, analyzing, and certifying results and driving process improvements.
• Own and manage Incoming Inspection, inspecting components before assembly and analyzing trend data.
• Support investigations, root‑cause analyses, and corrective actions for internal and supplier‑related quality issues.
• Conduct analyses related to critical control points, preventive measures, limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.
• Provide technical support and backup to Quality Control Inspectors.
• Train production personnel on quality‑related processes.
• Assist with corrective action processes, calibration programs, UL follow‑up, ISO 9001 certification work, process and product audits, and other special quality projects.
