Job summary

Kelvion is seeking an Engineer Detail Drafter in Catoosa, OK, to detail air-cooled heat exchangers for shop fabrication. You will prepare bundle assemblies, plenums, columns, ladders and platforms, and coordinate with design engineers and fabrication teams.

The role requires CAD drafting proficiency, 3D assembly and 2D drawing skills, and familiarity with API 661 and OSHA standards. On-site work and overtime are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED with CAD design classes and 3 years’ experience in heat exchanger drafting.
• Or an Associate’s degree in CAD Drafting and Design with 1 year experience in structural steel drafting.
• Experience with 3D assembly, 2D drawings and shop fabrication detailing is required.

Responsibilities

• Detail air-cooled heat exchangers for shop fabrication.
• Prepare shop detail drawings, including bundles, plenums, columns, ladders and platforms.
• Communicate with mechanical design engineers and shop personnel.
• Apply knowledge of welded steel fabrication practices.
• Demonstrate proficiency in 3D assembly, 2D parts drawings and flat patterns.
• Utilize Windows and MS Office in daily work.
• Ensure compliance with API 661 and OSHA walkways and guards.
