Job description

Team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and/or employee availability as either variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular, or full-time hourly employees. Their primary responsibility is ensuring our guests receive exceptional service. Team members may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. Employees must act as representatives of Regal in a manner consistent with our mission statement and policies, including:

• Regular and consistent attendance
• Handling emergency situations when called upon
• General cleaning duties
• Compliance with our dress code

Essential duties and responsibilities for each position include, but are not limited to:

Detail Cleaning

• Operating POS system, handling cash, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and coupons accurately
• Upselling/Suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experiences (D, RPX, IMAX)
• Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
• Selling tickets in accordance with MPAA ratings and company policy
• Responding to guest inquiries professionally

Concession

• Operating POS system and managing concession inventory
• Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
• Preparing and cleaning concession equipment
• Complying with food safety laws
• Adhering to break and meal period laws
• Maintaining current alcohol certification and training where applicable
• Selling or serving alcohol only if of legal age and certified
• Understanding training materials on harassment and discrimination

Usher

• Teaming tickets, managing crowd control, and guiding guests
• Inspecting backpacks and packages when applicable
• Monitoring auditorium environment and maintaining safety
• Reporting issues to management
• Assisting with concessions and cleaning auditoriums and common areas
• Managing vending equipment and assisting with opening/closing duties

Pay Scale Information: $ per Hour

Qualifications:

Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.

Education / Experience:

Completion of cast certification or progress towards it. For those selling alcohol, completion of state/local training and Regal Responsible Beverage Server training is required.

Language Ability:

Good public speaking, listening, and responding skills.

Math Ability:

Ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately, and to identify and correct errors.

Reasoning Ability:

Problem-solving skills, data gathering, evaluating information, and acting under pressure.

Personal Skills:

Excellent communication, goal setting, time management, and prioritization skills.

Physical Demands:

Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and using hands; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; lifting up to specified pounds; and visual acuity requirements.
