Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Destruction/Forklift Technician to join our Operations team. You will securely process and destroy all materials delivered to the facility, primarily during the 2pm–10:30pm shift.

Responsibilities include operating destruction equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring strict security of all customer material. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits through the first day of employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production or warehousing environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads up to 225 pounds.
• Preference for candidates with Bobcat and Forklift experience.

• Willingness to work the second shift (2pm–10:30pm).

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Destruction/Forklift Technician to join our Operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately and securely processing and destroying all materials delivered to the facility.

Shift: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10:30pm

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Execute the material destruction process, including cutting open bags, dumping payloads, emptying and sorting material by grade.
• Maintain operational efficiency by safely operating destruction machinery, performing regular equipment cleaning, and handling emergency equipment repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance by maintaining strict security of all customer material and vehicles, and keeping the work area clean, following all safety and regulatory standards.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

• Current experience in a production or warehousing environment.
• Proven ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy bags, pushing rolling carts, and pulling two-and four-wheeled containers weighing up to 225 pounds.
• Strong knowledge of machinery operation, with preference given to candidates possessing Bobcat and Forklift experience.
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift in a non-climate controlled atmosphere, which includes about five hours spent on machine operation (Forklift/Bobcat).
• Ability to work second shift from 2pm - 10:30pm
