Job summary

SMS Clean in Destin, FL, is hiring for a part-time Housekeeper (6:30am-3:00pm) at the Destin Commons area. You will keep commercial spaces clean and orderly, performing duties across lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and public areas.

No prior experience required; English literacy is essential. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, holidays, and a 401K; compensation starts at $16.00 per hour with opportunities for bonuses.

Job Description

Summary : Keeps premises of commercial, retail, airport, hospitality, healthcare, convention centers/arenas or other institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweeps, scrubs, finishes, and polishes floor.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
