Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. Ensures the accurate execution of all events during the shift. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans the event area during and after events; breaks down setup; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Prepares buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Cleans location after events.
7. Returns food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects comment cards.
9. Maintains catering facility and equipment.
10. Provides friendly, courteous service.
11. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
12. Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license may be required. Must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit as required by law.
