Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to hospital staff, both hardware and software, while maintaining the ticket queue and contributing to IT projects. This onsite role requires strong Windows and M365 knowledge, plus excellent communication and teamwork.

The position is temporarily contracted with potential to convert to permanent after 12 months; schedule is Monday–Friday, with occasional on-call responsibilities every 6–7 weeks.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Temporary with potential to move to permanent after 12 months - fully onsite

Monday through Friday with some on call 7 days every 6-7 weeks

Responsible for several aspects of hardware and software support across the PC environment. Oversee a ticket queue for submitted problems and requests. Provide customer service and technical support to staff. Collaborate and work solo on various projects and initiatives within the IT environment. Assist in tracking and maintaining of IT solutions database.

Education/Training

• Associates degree in related field of study
• Work experience of 2-4 years may be substituted in lieu of education

Licenses/Certification

• A+ Certification preferred, additional certifications (Microsoft in particular) are a plus

Required Qualifications And Skills

• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and applications

Salary Range: $23.71-$36.14

Salary Range Details

The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value Sturdy Health’s benefits package (if applicable), which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
