Join Our Team as a Desktop Support Technician - Mission, KS (Onsite)

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a contract role in Mission, KS - 66202. This position involves providing hardware and software support to employees and new hires, along with administrative tasks such as reporting and inventory management.

Responsibilities
  • Install and troubleshoot software on Windows and Apple laptops/desktops, including IMAC processes and remote support.
  • Resolve post-deployment issues across multiple platforms: Windows, Mac, and mobile devices.
  • Manage printer repairs, installations, and asset disposal/redeployment.
  • Coordinate hardware shipping, data backup/recovery, and hardware refreshes.
  • Handle warranty repairs, depot services, and walk-up support.
  • Manage spare parts, inventory, and asset tagging within the asset management system.
  • Provide VIP support and assist with audio/video health checks.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for dispatch and repairs.
  • Manage service requests, incidents, and asset assignments.
  • Collaborate with teams for onboarding and hardware management.
  • Generate weekly reports on inventory and hardware outflows.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of IT experience, including technical training.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Mac platforms, including imaging Windows 10 OS.
  • Basic understanding of network concepts such as TCP/IP and Ethernet.
  • Experience with networked printers and office productivity software.
  • Strong customer service, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to work extended hours if needed.
  • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
  • Own a vehicle for travel (mileage reimbursed) and hold a valid driver’s license.
