About the Role:

Note: This is not a hybrid position. This role will be working onsite at our San Antonio office during standard business hours.

This role is part of a diverse team reporting to the Service Manager, Workplace & Identity. Responsibilities are split across three functional areas and require strong time management skills. These areas are:

  1. Asset Management

This role requires substantial understanding of end-user systems, customer support, asset management, and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, from individual contributors to the Senior Leadership Team. The position is onsite at our San Antonio office, with occasional on-call hours as needed.

This role offers opportunities to develop analytic, technical, and interpersonal skills across a broad range of applications. The Aura IT team operates in a collaborative environment with technical experts available to assist in complex situations. While autonomy is expected, support will be available when needed.

Day to Day:
  • Respond to user inquiries via ticketing system, phone, email, or in person
  • Investigate and diagnose complex technical issues requiring product or system expertise
  • Set up and deploy new computers and workstations following organizational standards
  • Support audio/visual and conferencing technologies
  • Provide onboarding and offboarding support for employees
  • Identify root causes of problems and suggest improvements to system reliability
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve complex issues
  • Communicate effectively with customers, especially in high-pressure situations, providing clear updates
Asset Management:
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets
  • Develop and enforce policies for IT asset management
  • Generate reports on asset status, utilization, and performance
  • Analyze asset data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Deep understanding of end-user systems
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to data accuracy in tools and presentations
  • Ability to analyze, quantify, and present technical data in an accessible format
  • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical business stakeholders
Preferred:
  • Experience presenting to Senior Leadership Teams
